Lunch and Museum

Friday Tess and I went to the museum of natural history in Toulouse. The whole day was very fun, and a lot.

The day started with a quick stop in the mediatheque, where there was a Nino Ferrer exhibition, after some fun there we were off to lunch.

Cute pose!

Being silly like always.

After lunch we saw the bear exhibition.

There were fun activities!

Interesting folklore

A bear trap!

I learned a lot about all the different kinds of bears.

There was beautiful bear related artwork as well.

Now onto the permanent exhibition, starting with geology.

Some minerals glow in black light, just like I did!

Then we moved onto wildlife.

There was so much to see!

Amazing butterfly's and moths.

It was an amazing day! We saw so much and didn't even get to see it all, And I really want to go back again.

Pot au Feu

Today we are making a traditional French stew called a pot au feu.

These are the veggies!

Here is everything that has to fit in the pot. We even got beef tail!

It's a tight squeeze! Now we let it simmer for around 3 hours, maybe even a little more. Tonight, we will have a French dinner!

Next we decided to make our favourite apple crumble!

Tess mixing the crumble.

The work space. We've been cooking a lot here :)

Working hard!

The crumble is ready to be spread, yum!

I love apple crumble!!!

Spreading the crumble on the apples.

Looking good!

Tonight dinner is going to be delicious, and I can't wait :)
